Thanksgiving

This year everyone was home for Thanksgiving which is so much fun but also sad because that means they won't be here for Christmas! Mom always puts on a huge bash and always has such good food and fun activities for the kids. I hope that when I grow up I can help my kids love the holidays the way my mom has done for us!

After Thanksgiving dinner mom presented us with a gift that I will always treasure. She gave each family a super nice tent (you got it a camping tent). This might not excite to many of you reading this but this has super sentimental value, first because it was a treasure to my grandma to have family camp-outs and reunions. My Grandma loved being around family and to be honest with you my Grandma was one of my favorite people in the whole world and I loved being with her. When she died she left behind some money for her kids and so my mom decided to buy each of us a tent so that each year we could get together as a family and spend time together, this is something my Grandma would rejoice in. Thank you so much mom for this gift, I will treasure it forever.

The fun did not stop at Thanksgiving day it continued into the weekend. The kids had a fabulous day at the candle shop, Alco and the park on Friday. I'm telling you my kids were tired to the bone by the time I got off work. They loved playing with all the cousins and Aunts and Uncles!
Then Saturday my dad took us all over to Cedar to do some bowling and chomp on some burgers. This new little bowling tradition has become something we all look forward to. Thanks again Mom and Dad for such a great Holiday!
