Nativity Suffers

So, our Christmas decorations are taking a beating this year. Sadly, our precious Nativity took a hard hit, with Joseph and a Shepard suffering fractured arms, well maybe fracture isn't the right word, they were amputated. I must admit that it was the first time that I have really got mad at Dominik, and not the kind of mad that you have to hide that you are smiling mad, but it was a real deep down mad to the bone, kind of mad. Dominik knew he had done something bad because when I got to the scene he was shaking while holding one of the broken off arms.
It wasn't until later that I truly forgave Dominik as I watched him so innocently enjoy the simplest things of life. I walked in on him trying to kiss our dog Bentley and then lay down next to him under the Christmas tree looking up at the lights. I guess what I realized at that moment is that time is precious and wasting time getting overly mad is a waste of time. And so I have learned "Enjoy the Journey"!

Oh that is the funniest post. I am glad that you got mad, and then forgave him. He is so dang cute.

I am glad that you get mad too. I am always mad at Smokey and Scout, but I do love them.

That is so cute!! It's not like you shouldn't have gotten mad but when you see them do something so sweet you wonder:)

With how energetic Dom is, I'm sure it won't be the last thing he will break! haha. What a funny boy. Sorry about your nativity.

Hey Julie,
I just wanted to touch base with you and see if you are still thinking about running Painters half on Jan. 17th. It would be really fun to see you there.
